Biography:

Coach Paige McNeil was born in Boston, Massachusetts but raised in Augusta, Ga.  Coach McNeill attended Augusta Prep and was on the prep cross country team. She grew up participating in competitive figure skating. She has coached both cheerleading and cross country prior to joining the EDS staff as the Spanish and Leadership teacher.  This is Coach McNeil’s second year coaching at EDS.

Biography:

Joe Staton, new to Augusta by way of Fort Leavenworth, KS.  He is from Pinetops, NC.  This is in his first year at EDS. He played football and track & field growing up, and was on the track team at Voorhees College. He is a certified national USA Track coach as well as a certified strength and conditioning coach. His wife is a member of the Armed Forces and they have 3 children; Jaylen, Kaleb, and Lily. Coach Staton is very excited to be coaching our student-athletes.

Biography:

Stahman, Rick

Football, Track - 5 years coaching at EDS

Coach Stahman is from the great state of Texas and the town of Waller.  Coach attended Greenbrier High School is Evans GA. There he lettered in Football and Wrestling.  He was a two-time 2AAAA region champion in football and a 5th place state finish in wrestling.  He was the defensive team captain and MVP.  Coach played college football at LaGrange College.  He has coached wrestling, football, and track. Coach Stahman is a USA Football Head’s Up certified coach.

Biography:

A lifelong swimmer from Illinois, Coach Bowers has been coaching swimming for over 16 years. She has enjoyed participation in many sports including track and field. She is a US Swimming and American Swimming Coaches Association certified swim coach. She competed in both high school and college. Coach Bower holds a few collegiate swim records at Stephens College, where she was a college All-American. We are delighted to welcome her to the EDS athletic program.
